Purpose: The Operations Intern will assist the Operations Team and provide quality service support under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager. This position exposes an intern to Bank Operational functions and tasks that will prepare them for future Operations and back-office careers in banking.
Hourly Rate $17
Essential Job Functions:
• Assist with the Operation team with customer calls.
• Assist in archiving customer and bank records.
• Assist in collecting information for customer service issues.
• Assist in monitoring reports for tracking product performance and for rate pricing.
• Learn some of the many functions of the Operations department.
• Hands on learning experience in the online banking area.
• Learn how to work with different types of applications within bank operations.
• Assist in processing file maintenances as necessary for banks and customer records
• Develop communication skills and become more adept in the corporate environment.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
• Proficient with computers and software programs
• Strong organization and time management skills
Hourly Rate: $17/hour. Approx. 20 hours per week.
